Sustainable development is Cypark’s philosophy and culture. We believe that the quality of our living environment can only improve with the collaboration of the Government and the private sector in creating a coordinated policy on urban development as well as the protection of the natural environment.
Rapid urban development has put a strain on our living environment. In the city, where land is scarce, one has to be creative in developing landscape projects in public spaces. Cypark works closely with Governments and various authorities on long-term plans and projects for the integration of ecology and economy to make “new nature”.
Our technology enables us to convert contaminated or disused land, such as former mining ponds, landfills and wastelands, into public recreation parks. Some of our major undertakings are:
- Restoration of disused mining land: Cyberpark – Cyberjaya, Malaysia
- Restoration of landfill: Taman Beringin Landfill – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
