Cypark has advanced procurement, planting and growing contracts with several nurseries in Malaysia for the supply of the best plants available for any given projects. This gives us speed in plant procurement, whether for our own use or to supply to third party projects. Where needed, plants are pre-conditioned and acclimatised in the nurseries to reduce their mortality rate prior to transportation and installation – be it along the dusty highway, the desert, rooftops, slopes etc.
In Dubai, we have our very own nursery in Al Khawaneej to cater for the booming development market in the Middle East, especially in the UAE. The nursery, one of Cypark’s key selling points in the region, has imported plants from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and South Africa. Cypark is licensed to import plants into the UAE. We are able to bring tropical plant materials from Malaysia and Thailand at a cost lower than those procured from other countries.
The nursery is actively importing new species which are considered exotic to the region and conducts tests on them to ascertain their suitability to grow in the desert environment.
