Cypark is committed to Research & Development. Our multi-disciplinary R&D team provide value-added input through innovative design ideas and cutting-edge technology solutions to enable us to maintain a lead in the landscape and environmental services industry.
Plant R&D
We source numerous types of plants from different climate sources. The challenge is to ensure they are acclimatised and conditioned to the new environment. This is to enable us to
- Reduce mortality rate of plants
- Introduce more new “exotic” plant species to new environments
- Maintain a comprehensive database of which plant species would best meet the quality standards and aesthetic requirements of the client
We only suggest for plants to be implemented by the clients only after it passes our R&D.
Value Engineering R&D
Our R&D is focused on continuously improving cost efficiency of our products and services without sacrificing quality. This in turn would contribute to:
- more competitive pricing as we share the cost reduction with the customers
- timely completion of the project
- better identification and development of new materials or plant species that better meet the requirements of the client.
Soil R&D
Our technology enables us to convert and prepare unsuitable soil/land for development or landscaping such as
- contaminated and/or disused land
- wetlands
- marine sand
- slopes
- rooftop
Partnership
We are working with a few parties in our R&D efforts, such as sponsoring PhD students of landscape-related courses to do research studies and contribute directly to learning institutions such as the Landscape Technology and Training Institute.
